  • Two canine diseases which are new to our area have been reported in Southern California: leptospirosis and canine influenza. At this time, we are recommending leptospirosis vaccination and offering canine influenza vaccines.

    Leptospirosis is a bacterial infection in dogs and humans which may lead to serious disease up to and including organ failure and death.

    Canine influenza – A viral infection of dogs which causes respiratory signs, fever and malaise, similar to influenza in humans.
